All India (C.B.S.E.) Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination
The Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), New Delhi conducts All India Entrance Examination for admission to 15% seats in Dental Colleges run by Government Municipal and local authorities except the states of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.
Eligibility :
Indian Nationals of 17 years of age on December 31 of the years of admission.
Qualification:
12 years Senior Secondary Examination with 50% (40 % for Scheduled Castes/Tribes) aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together or B.Sc. with any two subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) with 50% marks and Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English passed at Higher Secondary. Candidates who have appeared at the qualifying examination are also eligible. Candidates should be medically fit.

Entrance Examination:
The examination consists of two papers one in Physics & Chemistry, and Botany & Zoology. The questions are of objective type with negative marks for incorrect response. The medium of examination is Hindi and English. All India Entrance for PG seats in Medical Colleges This examination is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in January/February at 26 different centers all over the country for admission to 25% of seats for post graduate courses in all Dental Colleges run by the Central/State Governments, Municipal or other local authorities except the States of Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, A.I.I.M.S., PGI Chandigarh and private medical colleges.
